Students of class prep to 7 in schools of federal capital will be promoted to the next classes without any annual examination or assessments.
As indicated by a notification given by the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE), each student will have a four classroom assessments for each subject, and each test will have 25 marks to make a total sum of 100 marks. These tests will be kept on school records to check by their heads.
FDE made this declaration in a notification named ‘Promotion Policy for grade I to VIII for Academic Session 2020-21’.
The Class 7 examinations will be directed face to face by the significant heads of institutions as per the set date, and the passing rate for each subject has been diminished to 35% for this academic year as it were.
Class VIII results will be declared on the 30th or 31st of July and the summer vacations will run from 18 July to 1 August 2021.
