Matric and inter students will get an extra 5% marks in mandatory subjects notwithstanding the marks taken in the elective courses, the Federal Education Ministry has decided.
The Department of Education took this decision after its research showed that matric and inter students got excellent grades in mandatory subjects in yearly assessments.
Addressing the media, the Minister of Education at the Federal Ministry, Shafqat Mahmood, likewise focused on that there will be no mandatory scholarly tests and understudies will just need to show up in the elective test tests.
